Have you wondered what will happen with all the Presidential nominee t-shirts not sold before the election? My feeling is that most will become discounted items soon after the dust settles. Surpsingly, the guys over at Chop Shop still have some t-shirts on sale that were designed for the ’2004 election! They have two great designs (featured above) on sale for $8 and $5 respectively. For some reason, both t-shirts were on sale for only $1 (plus shipping) just a few days ago. I’m assuming stocks are getting low because the price has increased (rarity) and only size “L” is currently available. Even if your not interested in the t-shirts, I recommend a visit to the Chop Shop website. The design of the site is interactive and fun. When considering design, function and layout, it’s arguably one of the best custom t-shirt websites around.

Busted Tees just released two new Presidential Election t-shirts. One celebrating Obama’s victory and another looking forward to 2012. Considering how long the Presidential race was for 2008 I guess it is never too early to start campaigning! Palin & Plumber?

Political scandals, celebrity news, and all sorts of “hot topics” have always been sources of inspirations for all types of artists; and T-shirt designers aren’t left behind. As we have seen with the Obama, Britney Spears, and political time T’s, artists find inspiration in even the most critical situations.

Whether you were a supporter of the Bush adminstration or not, you can appreciate the humor of Print Liberation’s I survived T-shirt. I will reserve my personal political affiliations from influencing this post, but I will say this T-shirt made me chuckle!

The Obama craze started long ago when he became the icon of hope for some and a fashion opportunity for others. Whether you voted for him or not, it is undoubtedly true that Obama’s face and name have made a strong fashion statement. You can find many blog posts and articles writing about new Obama T-shirts, but this obsession has reached such a level that you can now specifically “Shop Obama” on KarmaLoop. Many reputable companies known for bringing us awesome T-shirts have taken this opportunity and created some truly remarkable T’s.

I personally like many of the Barrack T-shirts that have come about, some being ironic, cool, and funny. It’s been really interesting following the evolution of the Obama T-shirts, from his signature “Obama ’08″ Democratic Party T-Shirts to Undrcrwn’s rendition of Obama slam dunking on McCain.
